Can live hydraulics be added to Super H?
If so what is the route to take. I have been looking at H's but have'nt seen one. Is it acccomplished like on the Super C ?

The so-called "Stage II" Super H (serial 19234 and up) came factory equipped with live hydraulics. And adding a Stage II live pump onto a Stage I Super H is pretty much a bolt-on exercise.

You will however need to provide an external hyd reservoir, or relocate the battery to a Stage II style "under seat" battery box to make room to install the factory SH hyd reservoir beneath the gas tank.

Note: Unlike the regular H, the engine front plate and cam gear on the Stage I SH are sized to accept the IHC live pump.

Think you forgot the starter would be in the way of adding the live hydraulic type reservoir to a 501 to 19233 serial # SH, in the IH location anyway.

You can use the belly pump as a reservoir. However it's fluid capacity is rather limited.

Also being that it's located slightly below the live pump and that it has only a 1/2" NPT port available for suction, it MAY result pump suction (starvation) problems - particularly in cold weather.

Yes, lots of Super H's have live hydraulics from the factory. The pump mounts simialar to the SC, but they don't use the touch control lift box as the C does.
