Not sure if I want to ask this or not

Just out of curiousity...

Does anyone know why I would have oil seeping out of my exhaust stack. I probably really do not want the answer to this question but I also should probably find out too. It is not affecting performance at all as I have had it running for hours now. Any ideas?

I'm assuming a diesel - wet-stacking when idling is normal for just about any older diesel with mechanical injection.

Have you been working it or just letting it sit there? Wet stacking?

Have not been working in yet, can't get the hydraulics to move yet. Is "Wet Stacking" a normal occurance when they sit running?

Ok, well that is good to know, I am breathing a huge sigh of releif, well once I get the hydraulics working I have umm about 10 months of work for it to do before winter sets in. I am so excited to have it running and so is my wife, now I can get to work on making it look prettier, the body panels are done I just need to do the fenders and power wash the engine so I can clean up some leaks, I need it to much to do a complete restore on it right now but it is something that I know will happen inevitably, keep it running so my kids have something to fight over when I die :)
