H oil pan?

Does anyone have an H oil pan in good condition they can give up? I'm dreading buying one from the junk yard for $50 that has dents in it. I missed one on Ebay that had fewer dents for $25 with shipping!

Anyway, before I break down and buy that expensive, not great pan, I want to see if anyone has one I could get, maybe off a junk motor. Dirty is fine, I'd just like it in decent body shape.

Someone else told me the exact same thing. The owner couldn't remember how it was done. "It works, that's all that matters" is what he told me. third party image

Mike, I know I have a spare H oil pan out on the farm that I would give you for the cost of shipping. I"m pretty sure it"s a good one, too. If you are interested, shoot me an email and I"ll get Dad to find it and Mom to take some pictures... as long as your not in a hurry - takes them a couple days to get things done.

Guess what Mike? The pan on my M is smashed also! I didn"t notice it before, but I may have done it bushhogging or when I drove over a log to straighten the bent swinging drawbar. Oh well! I may try to fix mine first , but it got a pretty good hit.

I would never pay that kind of money for one that is dented up. I bought one from someone on this site for $30.00 plus shipping that was in very nice shape. I have the old one from my H, it holds oil, but has some dents in it. I think $30-$35 would be a fair price for a GOOD oil pan.
