Does anyone know the weight differance between the governor weights in the Farmall B and the power units with the same engine? I was reading the power units ran at 1800rpm. I looked it up in the service manual and they used the same spring as the tractor just a different set of weights. I figure if I were to take a little off of my weights, maybe the little tractor won't drop so much rpm when loaded. I tested the spring and it's still pulls at 15.5 lbs. at 2 1/8". Any Ideas? Thanks,
Chuck

Tractor puller told me they drilled holews in them to get more rpms. You can get more rpms by adjusting the top screw and having all the play out of the input shaft gov lever. Then is you want more put a 240 spring in the gov.
