Does a farmall 806 narrow front fave the same front lower bolster as a 560? I know it will work, but if i was to convert my 806 to narrow front could i use the lower front bolster and hubs off a 560? and will it hold up?
Thanks

One has been under my 806 for 8 years now as the org. had a bad spindle from a bearing seizing and wore into the spindle and at the time i could not find the correct one layen around but i had a spare out of a 560 and being that i was in a pinch it got bolted up under and is still there , now the one for a 806 is alot heavier then the 560 as long as ya don't hang a 1000lbs on the weight bracket and bounce it across dead farrows or drop it when ya have the ft. end hangen 5 feet in the air at a tractor pull and drop the ft. hard all i can say is as of last sat. she was still under there . As that was the last i was on it.

i was digging around on the case i-h website, the narrow front bolster for the 806 looks like part number 379989r11, i tried to find the one for the 560 but couldnt find it. the front bolster for the 706 is part number 370251r92. if he 806 has a different one than the 706, i'd bet the 560 one is too small. quite a bit difference between the 806 and 560. i think i may have a 706 narrow front in the barn with the hubs, i'll have to dig around and see if its still there. email me if you are interested. im in illinois
