The parts catalogue lists a bolt 1/2 X 1 1/2 for the positioning bolt in the rear of the drawbar. They will not tighten so it is my observation that they are either not the right bolt or the threads are worn out. Comments requested on bolt size, threads or any other method of fastening the drawbar Thank you FOR YOUR ANSWERS

The thread is right. Since the hole in the drawbar is 1/2 then I will redrill it to 9/16 and tap the hole. I was thinking of filling the hole with JB Weld and then retapping it since there is no pull on it but I guess I will just go the new tap size. There is no

Sounds like Gene hit in on the head. I got lucky on my BN and was able to salvage/use the threads there, but I can see how years of them being down in the mud and folks with a job to do forcing dirty threads could tear them up.
