I need to either find a replacement or get some welding done. Anyone had this happen? barrel section of hinges broken over time plus I do not know if the 'L shaped' brackets were meant to be bent like this or just happened.

Expect this is not how they are supposed to look. Should they be straight? Anyone have a part to sell or been ableto weld this back?

I'm pretty sure I have a new old stock part for you. Also, can furnish a used one off a parts plow I have. The part I think you need is the U bolt with bracket, part number 512474 R91. I also have some other NOS parts for this assembly, but would have to take a look to say exactly what. I will sell them reasonable. I think the U bolt bracket will go in a USPS priority flat rate box. If so shipping would be reasonable. Send me an E mail.

I remember the exact same thing happened to my dads plow in the 70"s. He just went to the IH dealer and bought a new one. I don"t know if they are still available or not. The "L" brackets are suppose to be bent that way. Send me your e-mail and I will send you some pictures.
