I am working on a 1954 Super H that has the battery under the seat and live hyds. It has the foot start but is missing the rod from the bell crank to the starter. Can someone give me a center to center length on this rod. I am going to make one and would like to make it the correct length and not just guess. Also, if you have the diameter of the rod, that would be great. I assume it is like 3/16" but wanted to check.

Thanks in advance!!

Hello, Brian - -is this the one you hauled from "up north"? How did the trip go?

Yep. A very uneventful trip. Just the way I like it. Just a lot of windshield time for a weekend trip. 1500 miles round trip.

Crossing the border was much easier than I thought. I will keep my eyes open from now on up there.

The material is 1/4" round. The bends at each end are 7'16" inside dimension and go in opposite directions. Center to center is 25.5". There are some slight bends that you will have to make as you go.
