I found a set of Front frame weight for a 300 or 400 tractor that a guy wants to sell for $600. The price seemed high but never have seen a set before. Has anyone see any set sell at auction lately or what are they worth? let me know thanks

A guy at RPRU this last year had 3 of them on his trailer. He wanted 175 a piece. Only problem was they were all lefts.

Repos are 225.00 a set at one place, but shipping is truck freight only at 236 pounds.

I don't think they have to go motorfreight. The parcel companies will ship 150 lbs in one package. I seem to recall that a bus line carried my weights from SD to MA. And it was cheap but I can't remember the cost.

No argument, just quoating from that part sellers info. Don't like to put the name on someone elses site.

Bought a pair of them at the Two Cylinder show auction in Little Falls,MN a couple years ago, paid 175.00 and thought I got a bargain. Seems like I've turned down 350.00 a dozen times since. Rget seem to bring 350.00 to 400.00 on E-bay all the time.

What does "rget" mean?

They are rare in my experience and very pricy. If you don't want to pay that much, where else are you going to get a set? Just depends on how bad you want them. Dave.

I have two sets of frame weights

One set was swapped for 6 front wheel weights. That was probably a bad deal on my part. But new front wheel weights are being remanufactured and are now fairly cheap. I am too lazy to look up the current catalog price at Stieners.

The other set was purchased about 10 years ago for $200.

If the going price is $300 a piece, someone should be reproducing them. That is too much money particularly when the buyer, most likely, has to ship them.

I believe you can still buy remakes and yes that price is way too hy even if they are a little rare. David

Seen a set on ebay while back. Not sure how much they brought, but they were at 390 dollars the last time I saw them. They are rare. But nowhere near worth that in my opinion.
