ok so ive decided im going to put fenders on my H no i have to decide which ones to put on i could really use the extra light from the flat tops at dusk time but there are no flat top fenders for an H so my question is will those lights draw to much power from the battery where ill have to let it run for a little while when im done using it and 2 i bring the tractor to a couple shows so im wondering if the fender will stick like 4 feet above the tire. thanks and any photos of an M or h with flat tops will be greatly appreciated

If i cant find a set of flat tops that will work ill have to get the clam shells but i would really prefer to have the flat tops for an arm rest and for the added protection plus the water wont get splashed up on me when i go thew a mudy spot or am driving on the road

My H has 300 utility enders on it and they have a light mounted on the right side. It s the combo work tail light. Bolts right on an H and won"t have too much problem with charging.

Pat, if this type of fender appeals to you that Bob posted a picture of... meaning the regular Clamshell with the holes and indents for mounting a light, I can probably get you a set. Both fenders would have the mounting set up. I know of at least one off a 300U at my local tractor junkyard because I took the non-indented one, and I bet I can find another. If you are interested in it, e-mail me and let me know.

I have seen an M with fenders that have lights --- but they were the JD fenders with one light per side...

The IH flat-tops will work, the height from the axle is adjustable. They will look kinda big on an H, but will be much safer than the originals.

There is no way you could run all those lights with a stock generator and 6-volt battery. Only way to go would be to upgrade to 12 volt and an alternator or higher-output generator - in my opinion, anyway.
