Having trouble firing up the tractor after doing some work and moving the crankshaft. The firing order is stamped on the engine block - 1-3-4-2, but with way does the distributor rotate, clockwise or counterclockwise? And which cylinder is No. 1, the one closest to the radiator? Appreciate any info.

Hi Mark, never worked on the gas version only worked on the Diesel version but from the B414 Operator's Manual there is a picture of the distributor with the cap off and it would appear to rotate CW. Yes I believe #1 cylinder is closest to rad.
