I am looking for the cam gear and the gov. gear for a Super A. Also, can the cam gear be pulled off of the cam without removing it from the engine?

First, I have only tried this on a 123 engine in a 100, the cam gear can B removed. Drill and tap the gear for a puller, a harmonic balancer type will work. After its off drill and tap the center of the cam, install a stud and use washers to pull the gear back on. I usualy tap 7/16 course threads. all the drilling and tap'n is rite EZ on the cam and gear. I have done right many on sideways mounted engines in cars 2.5 GM's no problem. I still have the gear off the 123, it came off right EZ and the new'n went back on EZ'er than you would think. NO I would not remove the cam less I were going to do a rebuild.

I think that cam gear is a press fit and you will proably need to pull the cam and take it to a shop that has a hydraulic press. You can have them press off the old and press on the new gear.
