I"ve got a 450 gas with a breakerless ingnition module and a high energy coil. I am running Champion plugs (D-16 set at .032) and from time to time they foul and they start to miss. I"ve had the carb rebuilt and it is set properly and the motor does not smoke black, nor does the engine take oil. Is there a better plug to use with this set up?

The D-16 plug is way to cold for the 450 - especially with the poor quality gasoline we're getting now! Replace them with D-21 plugs - or the Autolite 386 if you prefer - and your fouling problems should disappear.
