Does anyone know a source for a 450 copper head gasket? I actually need one for a 4.25 bore M, but I think the 450 is the biggest there is available. If anyone has other ideas, please let me know.

Make one! Use copper sheet and cut it out to fit, take it and toss it in a fire and get it good and hot and then throw it into water. That will anneal it and it will crush down when you torque it. I woulds spray it with a very thin coat of Coppercoat spray on both sides before putting it on.

Well....I never thought of that. However, I guess it would not be too difficult. I wonder if you could cut it with a razor utility knife?

I tried to post some tips on cutting the gasket but the spam filter tore me a new one. I didn"t use bad words, but they would be used a different way I guess. Send me an email and I will send you what I tried to post.
