Checking myself here. Could have had a rough looking '45 A for $700. Both front rims rusted out, one good rear tire, no distributor, no generator, missing steering support and console, rusted out hood and grill.

The block looked good and it still had a drawbar but that was about it. With the rusted out tin and $700 price tag, I just couldn't pull the trigger. What y'all thinkin'? It might still be for sale--dunno.

why do you always quote what others say? i nottice that you do it alot. we all read the post once.

Because in Modern View the thread doesn't branch out like it does with the old forum. So I could be answering you, like I am now, after 3 or 4 other posts were made, and if the quote wasn't there, the person reading would have no idea who I was talking to.
It's very confusing for me reading replies from the old software where quotes aren't available. You get a guy 5 posts down answering a guy farther up and it makes no sense.

I answered a "How's the H coming along" question from El Toro in one of my threads. But didn't know he was asking Neblinc, not me. Felt pretty silly after that. It made sense to them because they see the thread different then we see it in Modern View.

It's just one of those quirks when two worlds collide.

I think they will be keeping that tractor. I paid
$100.00 for this tractor with a 16-inch moldboard plow and it was in sad shape too. With a lot of work it ran like new. Hal

That sound more like a $100 tractor then a $700 one. I know I would have passed it up. I just got an 8N today and spent a lot less then $700 for it and it has a loader and part of a back hoe on it also, but does have 3 bad tires 2 front and one rear

That sounds like a smart decision. $700 is a lot considering how much it will need to restore.
