Does any one know of what problems I may face on mounting a DuAl 3000 loader off of a 706 onto my 666

The family 666 has had a du-all model 320 on it for 20-30 years now, not sure how much bigger a model 3000 is. There isnt really that much difference in size between a 666 and a 756. Definetly would recommend adding rear weight (fluid, wheel weights). When you get the loader full, stopping becomes a bit of a challenge sometimes. I think you would probably be ok as long as the 756 handled it, the 666 shoul be ok.

Dear John. I am in the same boat as far as you finding out if a international loader model 2001(hope I got the # right) that came off a 806 will fit my 666. I don't know much about IH since I am a moline person but wanted a different tractor and couldn't pass this one up.I hope you can get some info on your loader. Mike

Two things. I talked with the Dual(Woods) dealer in my area. He contacted the support people who said the brackets on the 3000 loader should be the same for the 756 as the 666. I hope that is so. I'll find out in the next week or so for sure. Also, I posted this topic on another forum. A person there thought (and I don't disagree) that this loader will be a load for the 666. However, Dual has a bracket for my loader and my tractor. Moreover, I don't have any other choices right now as far as money, fit, and a job to do. I gave the boss(the Mrs.) a heads up that I'll probably need to get a different loader when we are able.

An added note, my original post was for 706 to 666. It's actually a 756 to 666.
