Deane, I keep an owner's manual, a parts manual, the IH Blue-Ribbon service manual, and the I&T manual. The last two are redundant in a lot of ways, but there's always that little something in one that isn't in the other, so they're both well worth having. And the parts book is invaluable in getting things apart and back together and (gasp!) ordering parts.

Deane
I have purchased CD's of FARMALL PARTS & OPERATORS manuals for my FARMALL Super 'H' from Phil Summers of Ft. Wayne, IN. They are relly great, you can open the file up to anything that you need to review in either manual and print it out. You can also print all of either manual.
Phil's web address is:IHave ADotCom.com and his address is:6331 Tillman Rd.; Ft.Wayne, IN 4616.
Telephone #:260-417-5805.
The cost of the two manuals was about 1/3 of what I would have paid for manuals from IH or elswhere.
I also have CD's for my FAMALL Super 'C'.
Have fun.

I like the ones I got from Binder Books. I have operators manual, service manual, and parts book.

Binder books makes authentic reproductions of the originals. I believe you can get them right here on YT. At the top of this page, on the left hand side, under marketplace, click on tractor manuals.

Deane: I have wondered the same thing. I see all kinds of service manuals for sale on ebay, but which is the best??? I think the answer is going to be either the I&T (available at TSC stores) or ones called "Blue Ribbon" manuals, which were produced by IHC back in the day. I seem to recall some of the experts on here say a tractor owner needs both. Hopefully, someone with plenty of hands-on experience will respond to this question. mike
