Is there such a thing? This kind of remains a mystery to me. I've been on a quest for quite some time to find one of these manuals & have come up with squat. I don't imagine there were service meetings back in the 20's & 30's to update the shop guys on how to tear into these machines. There must be a book! Has to be. Unless the service man was to use the set-up instructions in the manual as some kind of guide.
I thought I had it when I bought a stationary thresher repairs manual off of ebay. Ya know, I just didn't think parts were called anything but parts. Any ideas, guys?
Well, once again, any help is always greatly appreciated. I must admit, since I decided to take up the plow in the fall for the first time, this site has become invaluable; as have it's contributers. I am greatful! Hopefully, after I winterize everything this fall, I'll have some time to organize my notes, (wire)brush up on my writing sKilz & post an article on all of this crazyness I like to call recreational employment. Then, it's off to the basement for train season.

I just ordered one this week from Binder Books for a McCormick Deering 28X46 threshing machine. Waiting for it to come. Check with them. Hoping for a few days of dry weather so we can thresh some oats.

Vern, I just checked into the binder books site, to no avail. That one's the operators manual. I need the shop/service/I&T-type manual. There is an auction on ebay, I looked at this morning, for a service manual for corn harvesting machines. It's like the one for my H. Sez, "Blue Ribbon Service Training Course" on the cover. Glossy cover, 'bout 8 1/2" x 11". I'm thinking, now, there has to be one for grain harvesting machines. Any idea's?
