does anyone know where the hydraulic inlet screen is on a 350 Utlity Gas tractor ?
having hydraulic Problem and the book says to check the screen Dave

Dave in the hydraulic reservoir under the seat.
Have to take the VERY HEAVY top off the reservoir. You have to lift the top straight up or the screen will be damaged.

I am sure someone will give you their method of removal. I haven't done one since 1958.

Unfortunately it is under the seat. the top of the final drive casting is the resivoir, the screen is under the cast top. It is probably collapsed, many are. The solution may be to have a new one made from the old one with fine brass mesh. JimN
