I'm restoring a 1941 Farmall A. While rebuilding the carburetor, the idle jet came out in two pieces... Does anyone know where I can find a new idle jet? The carburetor is a Zenith mfg. 9752, OEM # 52499D.

Thanks, Chuck

Thanks, Vic. What I need is the actual idle jet - brass threaded jet, abt.3/16" diameter, that fits inside the throttle body of the carburetor. My idle screw and spring are not a problem. The carburetor rebuild kit I bought from yesterday's tractor didn't have a jet and they say they don't carry them.

I was mistaken in my previous reply to you. The BK9V carburetor repair kit does not contain an idle adjustment screw. You want a 30593D idle adjustment screw with a 30594D spring. If you have any more questions, I have the original Insstruction Manual which includes "exploded views" & parts list.

Not too long ago I bought the exact kit you're looking for off the shelf at Okanogan Truck & Tractor, Okanogan, WA 98844, phone (509) 422-3390. By the way, I completely restored my "39 last year.
