Hey, can anyone tell me where you can get the laminated signs made for your tractor when you want to display/show it at an event? The ones that show the make, model, year, owner, etc.? Dad is wanting to take a special Farmall to Mt. Pleasant this year and I'd like to get a sign made for him. Thanks in advance!

Thank you guys again for some great suggestions. I'm gonna follow up on a couple of them today and see what happens. I've made signs for him before, but I wanted him to have the same slick ones that others had. His tractors are just as nice, so his signs should definitely reflect that too. He's got a pretty odd duck "B" this year that a lot of folks are wanting to see, so he's thinking about taking it up.

Dave, my family and I live in Licking, Missouri, but I love the Kansas City area. I used to teach high school just south of there, along with some classes for UMKC. I wish I could go to the Red Power event up that way this weekend, but I confess that I'm saving my dimes for the end of September when I'm headed to the Plaza Art Fair on the Country Club Plaza...one of my very favorite late summer/fall things to do. The rest of my family isn't into it, so they stay home while I soak up the sights, sounds, smells, and tastes of KC again. Sitting on the Plaza with a big plate of Kansas City barbeque, listening to some KC Blues while the sun slips down the sky amid all that great art...almost as good as being next to Dad at an auction, rescuing an old Farmall from the scrap heap.

Thanks again, Big Red 1, formerly ny bill, Dave BN, Al L. in Wisc., and Rusty Farmall!!

Any of you guys going to be at Mt. Pleasant?

Try to get ahold of a issue of Red Power Magazine and locate an advertisement for Hoover Productions .I think. He also sells books and other related items

Sandy, are you talking about this show? See link below, nice pictures on their site. I'm sure you can find a local/close sign shop more than happy to do you up some signs. AND, that sure is a nice thing you are doing for your dad.

I see these made at most of the larger antique power shows. I'm sure someone at Mt. Plesant will be making them, though I realize that this will be a little late for you. Is there a show near you before that? Dave.

Dave,

I'm in Missouri and I really don't know of any other shows around here before then. I thought I might be able to get one made there, but I had just hoped to have it done prior to the show.

Where in Missouri? I think that your state Red Power show is this weekend. My daughter and Son in Law live in Independance by the way. Dave.

Dave,

I had heard about the Hamilton show, but it's about a 6 hour drive, and this is a busy weekend, so I doubt I can make it up there. Thank you for taking the time to help me look though. I may just have to wait until we get to Mt. Pleasant because I'm not having any luck yet.

If there is a sign maker in your area, contact them. Most sign makers have the ability and equipment to make just about any type of sign you might want, including decals.
