How do you replace Clutch pedal shaft, part# 395249R1 on a 1066? Thanks

I've did the same job on my 856. I could reach it by removing the top link of the tractor. If you have long arms you can hold the nut on the inside and turn the shaft on the outside with a player

Blind Squirrel finds acorn!!! Took hyd pump off, and with stubby 15/16" wrench and pipe wrench, was able to remove stub shaft. Originally, I didn't know how shaft was held in place. Thanks to all for info.

the rockshaft housing has to come off to get to it.

We're talking about the shaft the clutch pedal rides on? If so, there's a castelated nut/cotter pin on the inside end of it. I THINK you can get the nut off after removing the range transmission left side cover, if not, the rockshaft housing will have to come off.
