It's 102 degrees been up to 104 the wind is blowing at 13mph and hasn't rained in a month.
This is the most savage day on crops I have seen in my 40 years of farming.

Same here no rain in 5 weeks and temps hovering around 100 corn is turned brown already. even the weeds are dead. The only rain around here has been little popcorn thunderclouds and the closest one has gotten to us is about 20 miles.

George: It is just about the same here in North Alabama. I hate this time of year, but my spirits always soar because I know Fall is just around the corner - my favorite season. mike

Mike I am with you on that. October and most of November are my favorite time of the year. Get to go to the corn field and play with tractors and shoot wabbits. Wabbits are hard to beat laid up beside a pair of homemade biscuits smothered in gravy and a ripe tomato. Drop me an email sometime.
