clutch adjustment on farmall cub

I just put a new clutch in my cub . after I push it in and let out you can hear the throwout bearing rattle.new also .is it set too far apart or too close to the fingers .

The fingers should be 1 1/8 to 1 1/4. Main thing that they are all the same. Just a thought did you adjust the free travel to 1"?

Take a look up that hole on bottom of bell housing. Can't remember the clearance measurement from fingers to bearing face but someone will surely post it. I'll bet they are touching as that is what my dad's was doing last winter.
