I'm looking for a king pin set for our 1940 D3 IHC pick-up. The part number for the set is 84622 H and for the pins is 1051 Y and for the bushings is 1044 Y. The pin length is 5.4" and the diameter is .749". We could make do with just the pins and bushings. We've tried all the commercial places we can think of and now we're wondering if someone has a set laying around that is no longer needed for what had been a project at one time. Thanks.

I have had the same problem with IH KB-5 king pins. I am now thinking about putting in a Dana 60 from a F350. They are both rated for 5000 lbs. Just trying to figure out how i can retain the cast 6 spoke wheels. Yes, I will have to add a transfer case and make substantial changes to the steering. I haven't gotten around to matching the front and rear ratios yet. It's a winter project.

A few years ago I bought 3 running IH trucks.
At the time I lived near Abbottsford Wisconisin
There is a big IH dealer there, and I needed a master cylinder for one of the trucks. Of course he
didn't have one but he told me when IH stopped making pickups, the entire parts inventory was sold
to a company in Denver Colorado. I think they quadrupled the price on everything before they sold
it. The master cylinder cost me $140 . You could call Northwest International in Abbottsford and ask
them. 715-223-6361 They changed the name but the
phone number is the same.
