what does XL after the serial number stand for?

I was thinking and am not sure about what I posted last night. Seems like that should have a number between the X and L. Like X1L. Just not sure, but my suffix chart does show L for those things I listed.

XL means you have 5000 foot pistons, 7 MPH 4th gear and low low gear.If you have one you my friend have a rare bird. The gears alone are worth what some tractors bring. Hang on to it and take good care of it.

Look at it again. It's probably X1. Which means it's configured from the factory as a gasoline only tractor.

I suppose it could be mis-stamped. But,IH did not intentionally use the X codes unless it was followed by a number, then there could be a letter. X1L is as Georgeky says.
