I took my carb apart and found out that the top half is from a 715. The bottom is from an M. I drilled the main jet out to 7/64ths=.109 I also took the metering stem out and made the bottom set of holes the same size as the top holes. It has a #35 venturi. I used the M load screw and packing. This went well. I could flood it out now by backing out the screw. Well I decided to hook up my multispark box from Summit racing. When I hooked it up and when I crank the engine over it only fires some and it won't hardly start. When it starts it sounds like it is running on 1 or 2 cylinders and it only goes for about 10 seconds. I checked the box and it is sending spark just fine. It is set to six cylinder mode. All of the wires are hooked up per the instructions and I took out the condensor. What is the problem? Could it be my plugs or plug wires?

Are you sure your plugs are grounding????? Might check to see if there is any goo in there preventing a good ground. Easy way to check is to wrap a wire around the plug at its base so that upon final torque it pinches the wire. Run the other end to a definite ground or the negative side of the battery.

See what that does then let us know.
