I have noticed that letter series farmalls with low serial numbers bring a premium price and was curious if newer farmall followed the same trend. I have a 504 farmall with a 3 digit serial number.

Not to pop your balloon, but they don't bring all that much of a premium. In fact, a lot of guys avoid them due to their unique, rare and expensive features. Personally, I'd rather have a 1952 H than a 1939 H. But, what I'd rather have does not "make the market" either. mike durhan

They start at 501, so unless your number is less than 510 or so, it doesn't mean much.

I don't know where you are located, but around here a low serial number has very little significance. The only exception might be an extremely low serial numbered 1939 model.

Is yours a utility model? Mine is the only one that I have ever laid eyes on and I love it to death if I could keep the radiator from leaking and the leaks sealed up

No mine is not a utility. It is a rowcrop model. I collect letter series farmalls but picked up this 504 a couple years ago to use around the house. Needed one that was new enough to have a three point hitch, etc. Thought the low serial number might be of significance.
