I have a manual on that machine but I'm not going to sell it. Now if you need some info I will scan pages and scan as needed. First thing I would do is pull the compression lever and then fill the cylinders with tranny fluid and let it sit a few days. Very good chance that the rings are stuck and or maybe the engine is locked up. Those TD=6s are good little machines and fun to play with BTDT but sold the one I had years ago

Besides the Crawlers, Dozers, Loaders and Backhoes forum on this site, the motherload of info for IH crawlers can be found at redpower.com in their construction forum. Have fun and good luck.

Top left corner on this site. Binder Books, And the CaseIH dealer. Ebay has them on occasion as well. JimN

Don't want to scare anyone, but I actually have a non-running TD-6 sitting out on the drive. It was going to be the last of the three tractors I needed to get running this summer. I figured this would be the best place to get info because I know a lot of the people here and it has essentially the Farmall MD engine if I understand it correctly. Reason I mention it is that the Case/IH dealer here says they do not carry these manuals as they consider it a construction tractor. Wendell calls it a farm tractor in his history of IH and I have seen plenty of pics of them pulling farm machinery....as well as building roads....guess it is a fine line, eh?
Call Case/IH before you drive over.
