Anyone ever have any dealings with Good Links Tractors from Colorado. I placed an ad looking for the hitch for my C-20 plow and a guy replied wanting to ship it to me at once, but will not send a picture of it. Sent him another email and ask for a price shipped to me. He replied 355 dollars and didn't even have my zip. I wrote back and told him he was crazy if he thought I would give 355 dollars for a part for a 50 dollar plow. He replied that he made a mistake and would ship it to me for 55. The shipping alone would be that high. I wrote back and told him I would take it if he would send it to me C.O.D. and he said he sent a wheel and tire to a guy C.O.D. and didn't get paid for it. I think he is a scammer. Thought if he couldn't get 355 he would settle for 55. What do you think.

If he sent something out COD and did not get paid, it decause he did not send it. UPS will not leave it without the COD payment, so he might have not got paid, but he also did not loose the merchandise. i smell scam all over this one.

JT, that was exactly what I wrote and ask him about, but he never answered me. On C.O.D. the item would have been returned to him.

Write and tell him a friend is traveling through there and will pick it up. Ask for his phone number and address so your "friend" can talk to him. Ten to one you don't get this info.

Gordo, I implemented the plan and haven't heard a peep back from this joker. I told him my buddy was coming through there in two weeks and would pick it up if he wasn't to far out of the way. A few hours have now passed and not a word.

Gordo, that is a great plan. I will try that and see where it goes. Every time I ask about a picture so I can see if it is the right part I need, he tells me he is away from home and he will send one in a week or two. How many 2 bottom FH plows do you think were ever in Colorado? Couldn't have been too many of them sold there.

I know nothing about your original question, but there were probably a lot of fast hitch plows sold in CO. Strange as it may seem there are a lot of vegetable operations in CO, it also used to be a large sugar beet area, it is not all dryland wheat. Lot of areas where nothing grows too.

I knew there were a lot of crops in parts of Colorado, but I didn't figure many 2 bottom operations were there. I would have guessed that larger implements were sold there. mAnyhow, I haven't heard back from this guy since telling him my buddy would pick up the part. I am fairly sure he was trying to scam me.

Jimmy, it sounded fishy to me right from the start. I guess he thought I rode in here on a turnip wagon.

I think so. He did send me an email this morning saying to let him know when my buddy got to Colorado and he would give me the address somewhere in Denver. I had also ask for his phone number, but he did not send it either.
