Late last year I had to get my outhouse in compliance. Up to handicap standards, HIS/HERS and 144 sq. in. intake and exhaust per hole. I hope they don't $#!+ it down. David.

Gee, here in MN, as far as I know, you don't need any permits . . .'course you have to get the whole project don in the dead of night . . .

Dave,here in Eastern WV you have to pa a 20,000 dollar impact fee before you build one

I put in a new septic system 3 or 4 years ago and went to the health department to get a copy of regulations for the job. It has a whole section of outhouse regs in it. Even want me to buy a permit to build one. If they want to pick at me that much they can buy this place and I will move off and leave it. It is ridicules to have so many rules that mean nothing. I hope they don't $#!+ you down.
