does anybody have any pics of a factory wide front for m or h farmall i bought a front that will bolt up but not sure what it was for originally , it is not a schwarts, has axle clamps similar to my 460 any help would be great thanks

That's the same front end my Dad had on his super-M. What tire is on the rear of that "H" ? Doesn't look stock to me.

The old style H and M wide fronts had the steering linkage out front. The newer IH factory style had the linkage behind the axle.
I don't know exactly when the newer style was first offered; I see it on 300/350/400/450 models, but have also been told it was available on late M/H series tractors, described as a "heavy duty" factory wide front on them. I'm not sure about that, although I'm sure the newer version found its way onto the older tractors over the years as I have seen it on them often. mike

Take a look in the photo ads of this site. Right now, on the first page there is a picture of a wide front for a Farmall M.
