What is the date of manufacture for a McCormick 15-30 with a serial number of 1G80994? My tractor serial number book doesn't list anything with that high of a number for the 15-30? It has a brass carburetor and a flat pulley for the fan and crankshaft pulley.

Thanks.

Larry,
My data books don't show that low of a serial # for the 15-30 The chassic and engine prefix was TG and the serial #'s started at 99926 in 1929 and ended at 157447 in 1934. Dick

The serial number range you mention are referred to as the 22-36. Although it is my understanding IH never used a 22-36 decal and they were all decalled with 15-30. The engine has a larger sleeve bore that tested 22HP & 36HP in the Nebraska Test. I believe these also have a V fan belt instead of the flat belt. At least this is the case on my 15-30 and 22-36.

Mine is serial # TG 63595 and it's a 1927. You are probably sitting on a 1927 or 1928.
