The front rim on my Model 574 has an air leak where the center is rivetted to the outer ring. Is it necessary to replace the rim or just change from tubeless to tube? I am concerned that the loose rivets could cause further damage in future.I only use the tractor to mow waterways.

Thanks..... ..

Can not be sure on that tractor but most rims on most tractors are made to be run with tubes in them. So if that rim was made to have a tube then you should not be useing it tubeless or it can and will cause other problems. I know I have never seen a rim with rivits that where made to run tubeless

Repair is necessary. A certified welder (or yourself if you are very good and willing to accept the risk) should do the work. Any rolling stock with people on/in/around should have prudently correct wheels/tires/bearings/linkages. JimN
