IH live hydralic pump question

I have a pump that fits the H, Super H and I think the 300 and 350 gas.

I was thinking of having it rebuilt cause it was leaking a little. Does anyone have a knowledge of these pumps. Is it possible that all it needs is the seals replaced, or is it more complicated than that?

I don't have any need for the pump and wanted to sell it. If its just a matter of the seals, I thought I could have it done before I advertised it.

thanks for any input you may have.

Georgeky is correct, A very good machine shop could repair end play by machineing the center frame and gears, but not case side clearance from bad bushings. Side to gear tip should be near .001" if it is more like .005, it is toast. JimN

Most of the time the seals have worn grooves into the shaft. So unless you have a good machine shop the can rebuild and resize the shaft and the gears arn't wore out you just chuckum and buy a new one.

Good news and bad, gaskets and seals are available, but thats it. They can not be rebuilt as gear sets are not available.
