HI ALL!!! I would like to install some extra 6 volt headlights, already have them, on my super C. It has a loader on it and i want to see a little better to move snow this winter. My question is--I am going to wire them just using a toggle switch-- with a 6 volt posative ground which post do i hook the red wire to assuming I hook the black wire to the tractor as a ground? I don't want to ruin my new lights $$$.

Light bulbs could care less about which polarity they operate on. The fact that your tractor is positive ground is immaterial.

Check to see if one of the wires is connected to the lamp housing - if it is, make sure that this wire goes to ground so you don't accidently short something The other one goes to the hot (ungrounded) side of the battery through a switch if if you want to be able to switch them indpendently of the regular lights, or to the switched side of the light switch if you want them to come on with the regular lights. If you connect directly to the hot side of the battery, don't forget an in-line fuse.

Since you are hooking the black wire to ground, then hook the red wire to the negative side of the battery.
