Do I run a 80-90W Gear oil in the ta gears and the rear end or is there something else I should be running?
Thanks
Lance

Hy-Tran or equivalent hydraulic/gear oil should be used in ANY TA equipped tractor, along with any independent PTO setup. Same deal for the live hydraulics - Hy-Tran.

As a word of caution, I would use a Hytran equivilant, that old of tractor will never know the differance and it will save quite a bit.

Hy-Tran. Any old Farmall with TA will need Hy-Tran or equivalent. Gear oil is to thick for the TA.

So I run Hy-Tran in the rear end too??? Because all that oil flows through with from ta to pto with the exception of where the clutch disks are right?

Yes. Hy-Tran everywhere. The PTO has its own oil in it. It uses HY-Tran too.
