All the water guages i see for sale have a 2' line then the sensor. My Super C takes about 4' cause the sensor screws in at front of engine. My old lead and guage are in peices. Think i can get one for an auto that has enough lead. What do you all do? Thanks in advance.

I know, but that gives you working room. I had 1660 in mine in 97. I have used it quite heavy since then and it runs as good now as then. I am going to have to put a ring gear in it soon though. Try Brad he may be able to get one a little cheaper. 1-888-824-0544.

I thought that the temp guage on the As, Bs, Cs, and super Cs all screwed directly into that fitting at the front of the engine, and did not use a capillary tube? Maybe the super C is different?

No the Super C is not different. The one on my Super C and my uncle's two, all have them on front of engine as well. They will need the longer one.
