I have a Super A with a Monroe aftermarket seat (the coil spring type that has the shock in front of the spring). My spring broke, does anyone know where a new spring can be had? Will a spring for an H or a C fit this seat?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

If the spring you are referring to is the one that is is amall in diameter at the bottom and the spiral gats progressively larger tward the top, then you are in search of one of the easiest to find replacements you"ll ever need for your tractor. That spring fits every Monroe seat regardless of configuration. I would be surprised if your Case IH dealer did not have one in stock. O.E.M. Tractor parts also carry them. The IH part # is 354670R92. Shock absorbers are also available, but they will vary according to seat design.

I've got new springs. Any of the Monroe easy ride seats I have ever seen use the same spring. No matter what brand of tractor it is on.

Are the springs still available for different weight ratings?

No, they seem to all be the heavy weight springs.

What does it look like? I took an aftermarket seat off of my B and do not plan to use it again. Also when I was down at Hendricks Tractor Parts, in Hendricks MN they had a whole seat like mine on the B they parted out. Seams like it was in very good shape.
