I have T-20 tracks that are desperately in need of rebuilding.

I have already arranged with a local undercarriage rebuilder to press in the new pins and bushings for a reasonable price.

My problem is that we cannot locate the pins and bushings (at least from IH) and we need the specifications (ie. diameter - I.D. & O.D., length, etc) for the pins & bushings to see if we can find something compatible from a Case, John Deere, Cat, etc.

If anyone has any suggestions or specifications it would be greatly appreciated and helpful. Thank you.

Yes I have the original part numbers.
They are as follows:

24587DA = Track Link Bushing
24585DA = Track Link Pin
24588DA = Track Link Master Bushing
24586DB = Track Link Master Pin
17897D = Track Link Filler Washer

I do plan on using the tractor to plow. I purchased an IH #8 2 bottom plow last week and I am getting it fixed up. I must confess, the tractor I have the T-20 tracks and undercarriage on is not a T-20, but rather a Farmall H. I would hate to be stuck with bad tracks on this since I like to take it to shows in the summer. I really didn't want a "trailer queen."

Contact Lee Grady at the Wisconsin Historical Society with the parts numbers- he'll have the first four drawings, might not be too readible though.

That's a tough one stephen. I'll bet not too many guys have done this and the parts book doesn't give a size that iv'e seen. It would be best to fit the pad holes i suppose. Unless it's pretty far away for you. Sounds like you are doing it right, possibly making a useable unit? Plowing with a t-20 is a breeze with that seat cushion compared to a steel wheeled pan seat tractor. Good luck on your project.
