Right now, with less than 24 hours remaining for auction. Trouble is, the tractor is in England. Dang! Looks good, too. mike durhan

Well folks, looks like tadpoleparts from Southwest MI (Actually somewhere around Coloma and Watervliet MI). is back in business on E-bay again. This time they have a new account I.D. It is now roosmommie and this time they are out of South Haven, MI and starting out with a clean slate with no feedback & no history. Before they were tadpoleparts they were Ginsufrog. In that situation they just changed their account name & retained their history.
You just got to love E-bay and their lack of keeping a worthless bottomfeeder like this off of e-bay for good.
Great for the crook. If you get a bad reputation change your name and you are good to go. Get thrown off of ebay create a new I.D. and your back in business.
Thought that I would give you guys out there a heads up.

My take on Ebay is that there are MANY reputable businesses in the US that I trust, and that have or can get virtually any part that I would want -- so why mess with Ebay if I don't know who I'm dealing with. I buy most of my tractors at farm auctions. Some people don't like auctions, but since I buy to restore, the item does not have to be perfect. However, I am NOT putting down the several people on this forum who do sell or buy on Ebay.

Its a SCAM! in reply to City-Boy McCoy, 07-23-2007 19:17:50
That is a listing from a SCAMMER. It is most likely the photo of a tractor that somebody else had listed on EBAY. Don't bid, email or click any kinds of links in the scammer's listing. If you veiw the sellers other items, they probably have hundreds of items they they do not even own and most likely with no bids.

I did a rant on ebay on another forum and you would not believe what crawled out of the wordwork. After posting many requests for help with my project tractors, several of the people have helped me a lot including GeorgeKY, Farmall Red CNKS, Tom Windsor and many others. BUT, so many other that have never offered help rose up to defend ebay and even insinuate untrue things and nasty comments that I am convinced by their actions that ebay is not trustworty and worthy of my business. They cancelled an auction by tadpoleparts just hour before it ended for an unspecified reason yet those very same items are now listed under a different name. Due to ebays actions , due I dare bid on those items or was it a scam. Will never know because they won't say why they cancelled the action. Nope, ebay is not my type of purveyor where I can talk to the sellers and judge their honesty.

You should read tadpoleparts 55 negative feedbacks and several neutral feedbacks. That might be why eBay pulled his listings off.

SCAM SCAM Re: Super H Stage II For $13 on Ebay SCAM SCAM in reply to City-Boy McCoy, 07-23-2007 19:17:50
Sounds like that SCAM artist to me. He's been around on ebay in one form or another for months, maybe years now.

His M.O. is to steal pictures of beautifully restored tractors that are in high demand (i.e. Cubs, Cubs with 1000 loaders, Super MTAs) and put them up as 1 day auctions with no reserve using hacked accounts.

The intent is to collect, but never deliver. If ebay doesn't catch the auction and cancel it, and the buyer is dumb enough to not figure out that this is too good to be true, he snags a few hundred dollars for a few minutes' worth of effort.

Tell me about it, how did it get here. All imports of IH tractors stoped in mid 1949 when we ran out of dollars. IH started building the M at Doncaster in september 1949 but never built the H here.

Yea. Will you supply me with gas and enough groceries to get me there and back? I suppose a 8000 dollar one here would be cheap and wouldn't have to fight the waves and sharks. Not much of a sailor.

I use to be a Power Seller on ebay, made that P.S. rating by selling tractors on there, I got an attitude with flebay about 2 years ago, and gave up being a Power Seller, now I don't even look for farm equipment there, unless someone posts an interesting link for there. What really surprises me is that it isn't a Super HTA, I mean, if you are gonna scam, you might as well go all of the way?

It didn't take me to long to get a belly full of ebay myself. My biggest problem was all the trouble sending more pics and all that boxing and shipping. I used that shipping calculator and took a bath with shipping cost on a regular basis. I haven't sold or bought anything there in 2 or 3 months. Between this tractor channel I call it and my little jag of farming I don't have time to full with it anyhow. I have seen a 140 on there for months. Suppose to be in England. Something seems funny about it too. I have one of those SHDTA kits out in the shed, but I am just going to leave it as a 350 and a H.
