Looking into getting an H and will need to trailer it home. How wide are the rears and about how much can they weigh? Also are there any known places to look for cracks or repairs to this models frame, engine block or transmission. I do my best to look but always get so distracted I miss things. Been lucky so far but know it will cost me one of these days.

As to the cracks, don't worry about it, the tractor will let you know. Unless it has been abused or the block has frozen, there won't be any. Rear housing can be cracked if a bearing failed and got caught under the bull gears, that will be obvious. Rear wheels can be moved in to fit any tandem axle trailer. An H will weigh about 4000 lbs plus, the plus depends on wheel weights, and whether the tires are loaded. Factory rear wheel weights are 145 lbs each. You should not try to handle a rear wheel by yourself, and since they can be slid in, there is no need to.

Yep, they can be slid in (if you can get the bolts loose)
