I recently bought a Farmall C with a belly mower when using the tractor after about an hour it starts to miss then eventually stall. After the tractor has sat for an hour or 2 it starts right back up and runs great then it does it all over again. Please Advise Thanks

I agree on the coil, but if that doesn't work, replace the "condenser", or capacitor, in the distributor. They can cause some really strange things.

Sounds like bad plugs or ignition coil.

Feel the coil when it quits. I bet it'll be hot as a firecracker.

Yep, bad coil more than likely.

Sounds like a classic case of a bad ignition coil.

You probably have a bad coil. When it quits running you need to check for fire from your coil wire by holding holding it near a good ground while someone makes an attempt to start the tractor. You need to do the ASAP. before the coil has a chance to cool. Hal
