Hi Guys, I just repaired my tach and replaced the cable in my IH 2444 and it still wont work. The cable is not spinning. Can any one tell me what it is inside the distributor that drives the cable(a bushing or gear)? Is it easy to replace? Where can I even find one? I am very tentative about touching the distributor except for tune ups, Can I screw anything up by rempving that bottom plate that the cable screws into? As always, Thank you all for your help. Kyle

It is driven by a gear (assuming it is like older IH units) I would take it apart in a heartbeat, but if in doubt, take pictures along the way. JimN
