I found out you dont have to split the block and tranny on my W-6,
you just open the top under the gas tank, Pull the belt pully off , and then you can get to it,
Im alot happier,

Ohh yea i forgot<<
Its the back main seal, and I was talking to this older guy here in osborne, and he said that you take the cover off the top under the tank,
along with the belt pully,
and you can get to it alot easier than splitting the middle between the engine and tranny,

Which main seal? If it is the engine main seal, now you can reach into the clutch housing, but the clutch and flywheel are still in your way, as the seal retainer is between the engine block and the flywheel. At the very least, the hood, radiator support, gas tank, top half of the clutch housing, clutch linkage, clutch, and flywheel need to be removed to give you access to the rear main seal.
