I need to pick up a new 6 volt battery for my H. Anybody know what size group it takes? Forgot to look before I left the house this morning. Thanks

Most auto parts stores only stock one size of 6 Volt battery, a Group 1. That'll probably be all you can get today.

JJ I dont have those battery group sizes, buttttt ttttt t on 6 volt applications, especially if you need to start at extreme cold temps, I advise the absolute biggest, heaviest, highest CCA or Amp/Hr battery that you can physically stuff into the battery box/compartment and the use of 00 gauge battery n Starter n ground cables..... ...

Id just measure the battery box/compartment then go to the battery shop n get the biggest n heaviest highest rated one that will fit in the box
