I was just thinking about this old licence plate I have that I found in a box of old junk/good stuff! It was an Indiana farm tractor licence plate but now I can't find the plate or remember what year they used them. They did only use them one year I was told as the farmers raised holy heck at the state house. Anybody have one of those and what year was it for. I think it may have been 51 but I am not sure.

Yes, I can remember my Grandfather having one on his H during the late 40s and 50s.

Bob, --- 17 / July / 2007 --- Yes, there were licence plates for tractors in Indiana, I"m thinking it was the late 1950"s
or early 1960"s, and just for 1 year. Milton

Bob: I've never seen an Indiana tractor plate, however I have two Nova Scotia farm tractor plates. Yes, we've always had farm tractor licence plates. Pre 1970 they were an annual renewal, since then they have been no expiry.

Never cared too much for the plate itself, but the associated documents including title of ownership were awfully nice. We've never had many tractors go missing. Police treat that title of ownership much more seriously than a bill of sale.
