Out in the field before it got light out.

Had to use an air cleaner stud from an old GM 350 diesel. Ground off the short end, which left that thin "head".

Then, double nutted on the inside to lock it in place. Still caught enough dew to finish baling the wheat straw. :>)

Now, 'spose I gotta go haul all that stuff in to the corrals. :>(

I think the 1256 got a grade 8 bolt when that pin broke the last time... but it may have broken since then... who knows.

Personally, I kinda enjoy baling these days with our 2590 Case and JD 567 baler. ;o)

Allan, reminds me of baling hay a few weeks ago and I forgot to get some shear pins...welp we sheared the only pin we had on the baler, but I found the biggest piece of it on the ground, stuck it back in the hole and baled over 400 bales without any problem..go figure!
