I have not been able to find my manual. I was hoping someone could give me the end gap tolerance while I am out checking the new rings. I'll be back soon.

I guess that means the H I bought at auction, that 'runs well, no smoke" with the end gap I found on post buy tear down at .125 was out of tolerance? I had to use almost all the tabs on the feeler gauge .

Gordo, that does not mean that. The end gap for the H is different than that of the 281 engine. The correct end gap on a H is 0.010 to 0.020. Super H is 0.007 to 0.010
