How much is a Super C worth these days? Paint looks good (older repaint), runs good. I haven't been able to look at it except from the road (in the dark) going to go by probably tomorrow. He's asking $1000 for it and will let a 5' cutter and the cultivators go with it.

Is that a good deal?

Thanks for the information. I went and checked it out today, the paint is not good, rather it is fair but thick (better for protection, I guess), all the decals are on it. It starts great, no smoke, typical oil seepage around the engine, rear pto needs a seal, tires are weathered but wheels look good, has a set of rear wheel weights, needs a new steering wheel, a couple of the gages are not working, one was completely painted over, brakes work, all gears are quiet.

I decided to go ahead and go for it. I gave the guy earnest money and he's going to deliver it tomorrow.

Get ready for questions... :)

Ask away, some folks here have lots of experience on these babies. They are fairly simple machines that last nearly forever. I don't know where you are, but lots of implements for them are in the tobacco belt. KY,NC,TN,GA,VA and so on. Also see them on ebay quite often. It will amaze you as to what these little tractors can do. Myself I would be lost without one or two.

It is a great deal, from what I've seen. Bought my Super C (Washington State) three years ago for $3,000 - included a front bucket, two-bottom plow and seed drill. Ran pretty good, but needed work. Hope you enjoy it as much as I have enjoyed mine.

Local Case/IH dealer has a SC with a Woods belly mower under it. Average condition. Asking $3600.

You best grab it up. They bring more than twice that much, for a good one. I have seen them bring 4000 dollars for a good one with cultivator and side dressers. If you don't want it and it is close to me I would take it. The mower is probably cost more than that.
